Design
Combining the elegance of a saloon with the muscular attributes that are synonymous with an SUV, the Mazda CX-60 offers a unique experience. Its chunky proportions and high driving position confer the practicality you’d expect from a family-oriented model, while the gracefully sweeping roofline and crisp contours lend a sense of sophistication to the design. Step inside and you’re greeted by a cabin that’s created to encapsulate the concept of Ma – the calm and beauty of free space. High quality materials come together with a minimalist aesthetic to keep everything simple and refined.
Performance
The first plug-in model from the Japanese manufacturer, the CX-60 is fitted with a 17.8kWh battery, which produces 327hp and propels the vehicle to a top speed of 124mph. In electric-only mode, it cuts emissions to zero and offers a range of 39 miles, which is plenty for most commutes and school runs. Overall emissions sit at 33g/km, and with all-wheel drive capability, it’s stable and confident even in adverse conditions.
Specification
Three trim levels are available with the new Mazda CX-60, starting with Exclusive-Line. This provides 18-inch alloy wheels, a 12.3-inch infotainment display, a hands-free power liftgate, and heated leather front seats as standard. Move up to Homura trim for sportier details such as 20-inch alloy wheels, as well as ventilated front seats, heated outer rear seats and the new Mazda Personalisation System. Choose the top-spec Takumi for white Nappa leather interior trim, chrome detailing, and ambient lighting.
